Accessibility is a priority for us. The Accessibility Committee works to make this conference as accessible as we can, before access issues come up. You can contact the accessibility committee with any access needs or concerns.

Software Accessibility

If you fill out the Registration Form, you can fill out questions about your access needs and sign up for software tours.

The panels are livestreamed to YouTube. Recordings will remain on YouTube after the conference.

Questions for panelists can be submitted and upvoted on Slido before or during the conference, or emailed to before the conference. If you have issues using slido, you can send your panel questions to the accessibility committee at, our contact form, or the #help-desk channel on the conference Discord server.

Due to accessibility issues, we are choosing not to use Gather or an alternative this year. We hope such services are able to offer an accessible platform in the future.

Discussions are held on Discord. An invite link to the conference Discord server has been emailed to you.

Assistance during the conference

During the conference, help desk volunteers will be available on the conference Discord server’s #help-desk channel and accessibility committee members will be watching the accessibility email, phone number, and contact form. Help desk volunteers will be watching the accessibility email, phone, and contact form and will try to respond to you as soon as possible.


To view live captions, press the CC button on the YouTube video. Check the video description for a link to view a full page of captions.

If the text banners in the videos interfere with the captions, you can use Settings > Subtitles > Options to change the background color of the captions. We apologize for the inconvenience.
